Last Spring Break we decided to continue our camping journey around the great state of Texas. This time we headed West to Balmorhea State Park, Fort Davis, and Marfa. For small towns in Texas, these were amazing.

At Balmorhea State Park there is a natural spring fed pool. It is amazingly clear. It is described on the website that it is crystal clear. I doubted it before we went. I mean West Texas has lots of dirt, how could it be crystal clear? I am so very happy to admit I was so very wrong. It is the most amazing waters.
