How do you get into a photography groove?
Photographers hear this all the time… keep taking photographs.
Photographers hear this all the time. To get better, you must keep taking photographs. Well how do you get into a photography groove? How do you do it. I mean after a while doesn’t it seem to all run together? The answer is YES! There are going to be those times that you feel like you have taking the same photograph over and over. But you know what? You still need to take it. I am taking my own advice. I even went so far as to upgrade my backup camera so that I could, gasp, have a camera on hand no matter what. Lol, yes I always have one on hand but I never really left it out. I was afraid that it would get knocked over and break. I have insurance, it would be relatively easy to replace, but it’s not like in two hours I could have it replaced. It might take days. So the thought of leaving my camera out made me so nervous.

But I want to document them. I feel this need to document. I am drawn to documentary photographers. I love how they just seem to be there. To stop a moment. Those great photographers who have the ability to make a photograph in what seems like a snap of their fingers. So I am challenge myself to grow. I’ve tried a 365 and I can never seem to stick with it. So this summer I will be trying a 100 days of summer 😉 It is such a less daunting task that I know I can complete it!
