In the very youtubed video of Steve Jobs giving a commencement address these words are spoken. I always believed it was more one of those things people said. Love what you do. But you know what? When you find it, that thing that makes you stay up at all hours of the night learning about it. That act of doing what you love will drive you to be better. And it is a beautiful place to be. It isn’t an easy place to be and it is not always the fun place to be. But in your heart you know that you are doing what you are meant to be doing.

I just wanted to share this today. At this moment in time in my life I am doing what I am meant to be doing. And I am so blessed with the ability and with the willingness of others who have helped me get to this point! I have a few goals for the year that I have been able to check off my list. But I have a few more goals. Some of them will be shared here, in my little space on the interwebs. I hope y’all don’t mind me sharing the things that I love. And the trials that will help me achieve some of my goals. One of my goals is to find my voice in the vast world of photography. I am going to find it. But I am not going to rush it. I hope it comes to me organically and settles deep in my soul!

Kristina McCaleb Photography is a Dallas based newborn and children’s photographer. I specialize in newborn, child, and family photography in the Dallas metroplex. I am available for travel throughout the United States and beyond. I am mom to two very active kiddos. I love photographing children as the grow into themselves and into adults. Right now I am exploring the world around us and trying to capture as much of it as possible. I enjoy going on adventures with my kids and often that includes my camera. Sometimes it will include mooing at cows along a dirt road.
