10 little fingers & 10 little toes. I remember counting them over and over again. 10 little fingers, 10 little longer fingers with the most perfect small fingernails. And then there were the little thin, crinkly little toes. They curled up into little balls and would randomly stretch out as if they were breathing on their own. I say it often but this is the good stuff. This is the stuff that you don’t want to forget. This is the magic of life. These moments that after they pass you wish you could just drink in. Kissing 10 little fingers and 10 little toes.
