Tonight is it.
I know it sounds weird but tonight is your last night as a real “little kid”. Tomorrow you will go to your first day of kindergarten. It will change you but I hope not too much. You life will forever be a little different now that you are entering the big world of kindergarten. You are so ready!
.
Sophia you will do great things! Right now you are scared. Kindergarten seems to be such a big place but you will be all right. You have a wonderful teacher. She is there to help guide you into the world of school. And we will pray for her. We will also pray for your new classmates. I hope they are nice to you and you to them. And I will be at home with freshly baked cookies waiting for you at the end of the day!
(I bought the roll of dough today!)

Last Monday we went out for a little photoshoot! Of course, right?!
You had fun dressing up a little silly and loved getting your hair dyed pink! You kept it pink the whole week. Even when people looked at you in stores you stared them in the eyes and said don’t you like pink? I hope you don’t ever lose your fierce, strong personality. I have always though you were a little different than most kids your age. You have been blessed. You have the ability to understand quickly. Though remember to be kind to your new friends. It is always a little fun to be the class clown, or the one everyone likes. But if you are the one who was always nice and kind, that is what matters.
