I think there are a few things in life that we remember no matter what. The moment you say I do…The moment you realize that new life is coming soon… And the moment you first lay eyes on the most beautiful piece of you in the world!
I look back on my 11 year old son and think of him as a newborn. It seems so long ago. I can’t remember everything. At the time I couldn’t imagine much more than the two hours of sleep that I had just be blessed with. And now I think back to the little toes that were so tiny. The little way his eyes rested while his little baby self would sleep so peacefully. I can remember those feelings and then I go back to look at the pictures of him and just smile. And now he looks back with me. He seems so proud when he sees how much he has grown. I mean now he is bigger than his grandmother! He will probably catch up to me in the next year or two. So all of this to get to this sweet baby. Why does this sweet baby remind me so much of my sweet baby? I think it is all in the name. You see this little guy is Jack.
