I love Fall! I think all of the magic of childhood comes alive when the temperatures drop and the festive times of the year come out. October to me means pumpkins, pumpkin, pumpkins!
.
So I wanted to share a few tips of taking pictures of your kiddos in a Pumpkin Patch!
.
What do you wear? I know that Orange is a choice seeing that everything Fall is usually the color orange. But I wanted to share that due to the fact that you will be around lots of pumpkins, orange shirts might cause a little old color on the skin. If you are taking pictures with only one or two pumpkins I think you won’t be overpowered by the color orange.
.
Check out my wonderful little friend showing how he looks in orange in the beautiful pumpkin patch at the Dallas Arboretum.

When surrounded by the multi color pumpkins orange blends better. But can you tell how he kind of gets lost in the orange in the pumpkin only patch?
.
.
I wanted to keep a little of the orange in the shirt but not as the prominent color. So we decided to try a plaid shirt with orange in it.
.
.
Much better! Don’t you think??
.
To even go a step further we added the cutest little blue sweater and bam!
.
.
Perfection!
.
.
So when you head out to your pumpkin patch don’t be afraid to pick a color that isn’t orange!
