365.52. Weekly Favorites. There are so many options for personal photo projects. Last year I tried a 365 project. I made it to about day 14. I like weekly projects but some weeks I just didn’t have the photographs that went with the theme. It just got to be too much. But then I noticed a wonderful photographer posting weekly favorites. I liked the idea of weekly favorite. The only problem is that the kids are in school 8 hours a day. Then they come home to homework and then it is time to make dinner. This holiday season I was really busy that I think I fell down on a lot of my mommy duties. I mean, truth be told, my house is just now recovering. But I want to get back to shooting for me. And shooting my family. Well, let’s say photographing my family 😉 So I am going to try a Weekend Update of sorts. Can you tell I was/am an SNL fan? ha.

Thanksgiving Square. Dallas, Tx.
I LOVE this photo. I know many, many, many people have photographed this image but it is one of my all time favorites. I remember when Scott took Sophie to the Children’s Parade and they visited for some Daddy/daughter time. And my most favorite memory of it was when I was able to share the beauty of it with some of my favorite photographers. On Saturday we went back with the kiddos. It was wonderful to share with them that everyday we have something to be grateful for. I really wished I had peeked at what the wrote they were thankful for.

I love my sweet husband walking hand in hand with my girl. I love that because the shutter speed was a bit slow you can see the motion in her foot. Oh yea, and I love farmers market.

I really like the colors of food at the farmers market. So much food these days are brown and lifeless. I love food that is beautiful.
