3 Steps to an Exceptional Newborn Photography Session

Don’t be! You have enough to fill your time with preparing for you new baby. Dallas has some of the greatest baby stores and newborn prep groups available. But what about your photography session? Here are 3 steps to an Exceptional Newborn Photography Session.
Step 1
Decided which type of session you prefer… in home or in studio.
I offer both in home and in studio newborn sessions. The only real difference between the two are your family images. In home sessions have more of a lifestyle feel when it comes to your family images. I like to use your master bedroom or your nursery or even capturing y’all cuddling on the couch with your newborn. Then I will do my typical newborn session in a small area on the main floor of your house. In studio sessions have more of a studio feel to your family images. Classic portraits for you to treasure forever.

Step 2
Choosing your colors.
I tend to ask what your babies nursery colors are. They usually are the best colors for a base color for your session. If you already know that you are wanting a large print for your nursery the colors will automatically blend beautifully. If you prefer an album then I will match the colors to flow in an elegant pattern.

Step 3
Relax.
Having a new baby is one of the most challenging and wonderful times of your life. It is also one of the most stressful sometimes. Don’t worry about your session. I have been blessed with photographing beautiful babies and I have seen almost everything. This is your time to enjoy the beauty that is newborn photography.
