The first hours as a family, is it easy to hear those words? The first hours? I have been a mother for what seems like forever now and I can still remember the first few hours. Now granted a lot of that time was a blur but those feelings never go away. Fresh 48 Sessions are hospital documentary photography sessions. And that is exactly what they are. And that is exactly why they are important. It is remembering the first few hours as a family. This little guy was around 20 hours old when I documented them. He wasn’t even a day old. And they will have these memories forever.
Is that worth it to you? I don’t even have to ask that. I know it is. I know what is important in any expectant mothers life. The moments when you become a family. I have photographed in almost every major hospital in the Dallas/ Fort Worth metroplex for fresh 48 sessions. They are each unique and each full of love. What a blessing it is for me to have the honor of documenting a new family. Y’all this is why I do what I do!
