I can’t remember when it was exactly but when Jack was little (3 or 4) we took a drive up to Gettysburg during our yearly Maryland visit. Since life happened and it took us a little longer to get back up to Maryland I knew I wanted to show him (now 11) Gettysburg. He is my history buff. He loves learning about. So we stopped by the visitor center (which was different from the last time we visited) and grabbed the cd audio tour and off we went. We drove and the car was silent. I asked them if they were ok and they both said they were listening and loved it. We climbed on the observation towers and learned where battles happened. And I think their favorite spot was Devils Den. Sophie could climb all day!
