Why we Love Bluebonnets in Texas
It is no secret that Texas loves it’s bluebonnets…
It is no secret at all. Do you know why we love our bluebonnets in Texas? Because they are our flower. Bluebonnets signify the end of winter and the beginning of spring. For many of us bluebonnets simply represent Texas. I grew up here in Texas and remember having my picture taken with bluebonnets when I was in preschool. Everyone took their pictures with the bluebonnets. And the tradition continues. Texas is a place like no other. We have mountains and oceans and hours in between both. If you follow me on Instagram you know that I love Texas. We explore Texas so much. One of my favorite places is west Texas because the bluebonnets start blooming in February.
So little Mr. N had a wonderful time in his bluebonnets. They just almost overtake him. Are a fan of the technicals of photography? The images below represent a great lens effect. Long lenses use what is called compression, which makes everything come together in the image. For Mr. N’s session I knew I wanted the bluebonnets to all come together. So I used one of my long lenses. But tell you a secret? Check the 3rd image below, see that blanket he is sitting on? There was a perfect empty patch of grass as wide as that blanket. But thanks to the wonders of photography he just seems like he is bundled up in his own flower bed.
