I share a lot about newborn photography and today I wanted to kind of take it in a new direction. I wanted to share a little of why I love newborn photography.  When I begin really focusing my love for photography I took photographs of everything I could think of. I believe that is the best way to get better. Photograph as much as you can, as often as you can. I can still vividly remember my first newborn session. I pulled this confidence out of now where. I had little training, but lots of safety training, but was ready. It was awesome. Now that isn’t to say the posing was awesome, and the lighting was well interesting. But I knew in that moment this was for me.
Every newborn that I photograph after that first one my photography goal is to be a little bit better after every session. And y’all. I am still pushing myself as much as I can.

I am proud to be a newborn photographer. I have seen many people try to get into this business. And honestly it is a hard line of work. Not only because I pretty much get peed on every session, but because of the unpredictability of it. But a little secret, that is my favorite part. I am a problem solver.
