This weekend we headed out to my grandparents house to help work on a shed my grandfather is building. While I knew we would be working on the shed (and by we, I mean mostly Scott) I was so happy for the nice day. The kids are finally old enough that they can explore the land without too much supervision. So off they went exploring. Most of them came back with only slight mud on them but… not my Sophie! She is so much her own person that even though everyone else tried to not get muddy she couldn’t help herself. First it was the hands… “Momma it is like a spa!” And since I didn’t get mad. I mean who can get mad at a spa, right? She went all in!

The ONLY thing I tried was to keep it off her shirt…. Yep, I told her to try not to get her shirt dirty. And in plan ole Sophie fashion, it was a invitation to do it.

I always pack an extra pair of clothes when we go out there 😉 Funny thing is she had her rain boots before we went but her sweet younger cousin gave her some of her old shoes. Yep, her younger cousin is bigger than my small girl!
